Mixed Martial Arts for Young Children | MAFA Tiny Ninjas

With childhood obesity at an all time high many parents are searching for a way to get their children motivated about taking care of their health. Research has shown that children who have a poor experience with exercise during their formative years (ages 3-7) are more likely to develop poor exercise skills and a lack of motivation to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

At the toddler stage, many parents find it difficult to introduce their children to active sports that will influence them to continue working out into adulthood. Martial arts is a great way to help your child learn focus, self-discipline, and self-respect while developing great exercise habits.

Children in the Tiny Ninjas class will learn some of the key skills essential to creating positive life choices. Focusing on the whole child, the program allows each student to experience learning martial arts in a stress-free environment while encouraging them to set goals, work hard and do their best. Each class, your child will be engaged by a new set of motivating and exciting activities designed to teach the importance of setting goals, following directions and completing tasks while improving balance, flexibility and coordination. All fun! Socially and developmentally appropriate for very young children.

The Student Creed

I promise myself to be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.”
